Experience Overview
The initiative was delivered through two connected experiences held in August 2025, targeting creative founders and artisans from different backgrounds.
The first phase, “Basmat Harfi”, took place over three days from August 11 to August 13, 2025. Each day featured a dedicated workshop focused on practical skills essential for turning creative work into a viable business. The sessions brought together a group of artisans who actively participated in discussions, exercises, and live applications of the concepts presented.
Rather than relying on long lectures, the workshops emphasized hands-on engagement, allowing participants to apply what they learned in real time and receive direct feedback.
Daily Workshops: Basmat Harfi (August 11–13, 2025)
Over the three-day program, participants attended one specialized workshop per day, each focusing on practical areas essential for turning creative skills into sustainable businesses. The workshops included:
This hands-on approach helped founders view their creativity not only as an artistic skill, but as the foundation of a scalable and sustainable business.

From Creativity to Opportunity
A core objective of the initiative was helping founders bridge the gap between creativity and entrepreneurship. Participants were encouraged to think strategically about pricing, branding, and how their work could evolve into market-ready offerings.
Open discussions and live feedback sessions played a central role, giving founders new perspectives, refining their ideas, and building confidence in presenting their work to others.
Harfa in an Hour: Live Competition Day
The initiative concluded with “Harfa in an Hour”, held on August 15, 2025, transforming the experience into a live and interactive competitive format.
A total of 12 artisans participated, showcasing their skills in a timed challenge and competing for cash prizes, supported by event sponsors. The competition added a dynamic element to the experience, encouraging participants to perform under real conditions while demonstrating creativity, speed, and business thinking.
The event was open to the public, allowing visitors to attend, interact with the artisans, and actively take part in the craft-making process alongside them. This open format created a vibrant atmosphere, strengthening engagement between artisans and the community while offering visitors a hands-on cultural and creative experience.
In addition to the competition, sponsorship support contributed to both the prize pool and the overall success of the event.

Community, Visibility, and Growth
Beyond the workshops and competition, the initiative fostered a strong sense of community. Founders connected with peers, shared challenges, and exchanged ideas in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The experience also increased participants’ visibility within the SPOT ecosystem, helping them showcase their work and connect with a wider audience. By combining learning, exposure, and interaction, SPOT continues to create spaces where creative founders can grow with confidence.
Moving Forward
These hands-on experiences reflect SPOT’s ongoing commitment to empowering founders at different stages of their journey. By focusing on practical engagement, community support, and real-world exposure, SPOT helps founders turn passion into progress and creative ideas into real opportunities.
